Hoard Monsters and Legendary Loot for D&D 5E and Pathfinder Second Edition

Hi all,

Approvals got done early, so we've sent the Smoke Test for the Pledge Survey out to a slice of backers. Check your emails and reply ASAP. We just want to check in on everyone and make sure everything is A-OK with the survey, so if you're one of the people who got the test survey please send it back at your earliest convenience! 

Unless there are any problems, we'll be able to send out the full survey to everyone tomorrow! 

I've also uploaded all of the PDFs to Backerkit, so once surveys are locked and cards charged, those downloads will go live and you can start getting your PDFs!

After going around and around with trying to get the site to do what I wanted, it seemed like it would be faster to just press on and complete the pledge survey and get it done that way, so I did! The pledge survey is complete and submitted to Backerkit for review and approvals. This usually takes a day or two, but we'll shortly be able to send out the "Smoke Test," which just means 5% of backers will get the survey and gives us a chance to notice and fix any glitches that get noticed. Usually there's no problem, but just in case, better to fix it early. 

Assuming no unexpected delays, we should have the Smoke Test out by Thursday and the survey out to everyone on Friday. Once we've gotten around 70% of backers responding, we'll start locking orders and charging cards, and then we can get your books headed out to you! Here are a few more bits of information for you as we get ready to fulfill!

I've been going around in circles on Backerkit for the last two hours trying to figure out how to export a simple download of backer emails tied to each pledge (which is simple to do on Kickstarter), but every thread I follow just leads back to the Backerkit pledge manager instead. I already know how to do that, but that isn't something you can do on pledge day. On Kickstarter, I would've exported the backer list and sent out PDF links through DrivethruRPG as promised, but it looks like I can't actually do that, much to my chagrin. We are very proud of fulfilling our QUICKstarters *on* finish day and promised that for this project, but I made a mistake in believing this would work the same way. 

This is only my second time trying to use Backerkit crowdfunding and I don't remember this being a blocking issue the last time, but either something has changed or I am missing something obvious in how to make it work. There are some nice features on Backerkit as a crowdfunding tool, but I'm not sure they make up for the generally lower traffic and some other ease-of-use detriments compared to using Kickstarter. 

My apologies to all that we will have a slight delay in fulfillment. I've sent in emails to my support rep at Backerkit and hopefully will get an answer tomorrow. I'm also cranking away on the pledge survey so, if worse comes to worst, at least I'll be able to get that turned around through approvals ASAP.

We had a Pieces of Eight bundle as part of the campaign and we got to 8 times our goal, so thank you to each and every one of you for your support! Backerkit has a new quirky system where it allows late pledges as long as people keep trickling in. Each new pledge resets the clock another 5 minutes!

The family and I are celebrating with a nice dinner but I'll be back on later tonight to start sending out rewards once the late pledges are finalized! I look forward to getting our Backerkit pledge survey set up for them to review on Monday, and hopefully ready to send out to you by this time next week!

If the real treasure is the friends we made along the way, then the real treasure for LG is all of you! Sure it's corny, but corn is golden so... nature's treasure?
